2. Describe the Feed or Food and its distribution

  • Indentify product(s) the plan will encompass

  • General description of:

    • Feed
    • Ingredients
    • Processing
  • Describe the nature of the products (e.g. meal, pellet, sacked, or bulk...)

  • Method of storage and distribution

  • Use "Consumer" terms

  • Detailed formula for product

    • Include list of ingredients or chemical which may find its way into the product
  • Shelf life

  • Packaging

  • Describe properties that will influence the safety of the product

    • Is special distribution control needed?
    • What is the potential for mishandling?
